I began selling real estate seven years ago after coming to the realization that I enjoy selling and I love houses. The sense of satisfaction in this business has come in the awareness that what I really love is helping people find the home that gives them comfort, both physically and financially. I have had the pleasure of helping many young couples buy their first homes and watch them as they raise families in those homes. But I have been equally blessed with being involved in the process of the empty nest couple who downsizes to find a new comfort level in their lives.
Through out the years, my desire to use continuing education in real estate has been very beneficial. I feel the importance of taking a personal inventory and adding to my education on a regular basis. My sales in commercial, agricultural and residential properties show a diversification I am proud of. I am prepared to help my clients with all their real estate needs. I have had extensive education in a variety of subjects from financing to mold inspections. I personally believe we should never miss an opportunity to gain knowledge in our work and personal relationships. This is why so many of my clients have become dear friends for life.
Although my college degrees (UNK) are not directly related to real estate, I feel I have learned from that experience in a way that gave me a rounded sense of confidence. My FRI accreditation was an accomplishment I am very glad I sought out. As a graduate of Realtor Institution, I have completed classes and exams on subjects that benefit my real estate knowledge in many helpful ways. I am a member of the Fremont Board of Realtors, the National Board of Realtors and the Omaha Multiple Listing Service.
I am currently living in Fremont, but am licensed to sell real estate anywhere in Nebraska. I have four wonderful sons and four beautiful grandchildren. I am involved with my church and several community based organizaitons. I serve on the Board of Directors for the Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity. When I am not working, I enjoy fishing, traveling, sailing, paper-making and painting.
